Samuel Goodwin is a multiple-award-winning writer and director, based in his hometown of Denver, Colorado. He's determined to stake out a filmmaking career in his home state, and strives to integrate his home into his voice and his storytelling.

"Homesick,” Sam's horror short following a solitary young boy in a post-apocalyptic American landscape, has screened at 50 festivals globally, received dozens of awards, and garnered over a million views online. Sam has expanded that world into a feature length screenplay that is currently in development with veteran producers Keri Nakamoto and Lucas Foster, with Samuel attached to direct.

Sam's screenplays have won accolades from Atlanta Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, Screencraft, Script Pipeline, Slamdance Film Festival, London Film Festival's Production Finance Market, and the Midnight Oil Collective.
